Hi just bought an Fto GR in London and drove to the east of Ukraine in one go ( 3days) 2000 miles

The car was great and I'll post the story of the journey here if anyone is interested.

Car performed fantastic apart from the heater throwing in the towel about half way and had to bypass it.

so hello to all back in the Uk

WTTC. you were brave. I personally would attempt something like that but only after owning the car for a while to find out if it was up to it first!

Hi i live and work in the ukraine you can see my web site on www.mm-agencies.com we sell plastics machinery here

its a great country but the roads are extreme and the cops ah ha corruption every time they stop you slip them 50 $

it stinks from that point of view but then look at our politicians so what's the difference

It was hard driving with an unknown car but she performed great was really impressed by the fto my last car was an mr2 but the fto beats it hands down for touring

that's one hell of a drive!!

Sorry I can't help with what other heater matrix fit, I think you'll be struggling and have to get another, shipped out, if it's just a hole in the heater radiator these too are fto units and not sure on others that will fit but they're not too expensive to buy and ship.

good luck with the car and we need pictures of the fto in foreign lands!!

How much fuel do you think you used?

I'm thinking of driving to Croatia when I've finished my car.

On the ukraine side I used 900 grvn dont know the £ exchange rate as I work in dollars which is 7.95 grvn to the $,,,,,, fuel here is approx a dollar a litre

From london to the Polish border I think i spent about 150 euro

Filled the tank 3 times at approx 45/50 euro a time ,, but I tried to stick at a constant speed kept the acceleration down to a min, was really driving for economy at every possible chance

hope that helps

never felt at any time the car was heavy on fuel
