WTTC. Might not really nessesary to need gearbox. There are three sensors on the gearbox and any one will cause the GB to tell the ECU to flash the `n`. you would only have 2nd & 3rd I beleive when its flashing. it could be the sensors are dirty with crud (loose metal filings) from the gearbox which as IIRC two of the sensors are magnetic and use a moving magnet to pick up: GB input Speed & GB Output speed, the other is speedo and is gear driven(but again if failed could cause `n` flash)

Hmmmm,,, that might help my `eratic changing `tip prob too N/C / Yorkie.
Are the sensors easy to change ?? ,,,, ( for a dumpling like me )
or would they be cleaned sufficiently if ATF was changed, combined with a proper `under pressure` flushing ?
Thanks again,,,, Two sheds

hi m8
so you dont spend a lot of money and time you need to fault find in a logical manner.
check all wiring and connections for damage.
first of all when was the gearbox oil last flushed and changed.-try that
problems still?
clean each of the sensors
problem still?
contact a breaker get input and output sensor
problem still?
then think about a gearbox change or even manual conversion.
let us know how that gets on?
