As I am self employed and my wife doesn't work our christmas party is gonna be very dull this year to say the.least!! So who is up for a little get together/pub lunch as a sort of a christmas do?

Cheers

Gary

Matt and I have been having a bit of a chat about this and thought we would throw some ideas about:

1 - bowling at the Kassam followed by a drive and a meal somewhere.
2 - a night at the dogs (near the Kassam - they do a christmas package).
3 - just a meal somewhere (but go somewhere a little more up-market).
4 - a nice country drive followed by a Christmas BBQ.

Like I said, just throwing some ideas about incase everyone is still interested in this little meet :)

Have to admit the dogs isn't really my thing but the bowling at the kassam sounds like a potential winner!!

Ok, time is getting short guys - and Gary seems like a very busy man at the minute so I hope you don't mind me jumping in to see if we can get this organised :)

Bowling + Drive + meal seems like the option most people have mentioned to me (mainly on Facebook though..) so perhaps we shall go with that if the majority give the thumbs up.

As for a date... how does Saturday 3rd sounds to everyone?

Let me know what we all think. And sorry if i'm stepping on your toes here Gary, but since the Midlands xmas-do has gone belly-up I thought we should try and avoid the same situation on this one :D

We were planning on being down on the 3rd. Kids are competing in Swindon both days, so rather than drive back and forth from nhants was planning on finding a hotel or similar....

The fix it day isn't really something my missus would enjoy so I'm still taking her and my daughter out bowling then off for a pub meal somewhere afterwards. If anybody still fancies coming out you are more than welcome. I was thinking sometime around the 2nd weekend in December?
