    A good Reason To Join

Hi. One of the best aspects of being a fully signed up member of FTOOC is the plethora of help that comes with being part of the community. From the grease monkey section, containing hints and ways to carry out some very complex work, in easy to follow instructions, to fixing broken bits like my mirrors fold but don`t unfold (easy to do), to what oils go where and what rating(0/30 5/40 etc), and most people will find others in their area whom if they can will help in person.
If you have an FTO and bits don`t work (who doesn`t!) then join and find how to fix them, saving you money over asking a garage to do it. And if it can`t be fixed then theres always the traders section for buying that just not fixable bit
Poorer for having an FTO, but once again in love with driving for the sake of it

I guess I should become a Full Club Member then as I have laid my FTO up, and cannot really afford garage fees. Used to live in Chislehurst , Kent.

This should be made a sticky to stop wannabe members moaning about paying £18

Thanks for all the positive feedback, wasn`t sure about posting but I had to say it as I was blown away by the comaraderie from other FTO owners. Many thanks

i only had my fto for 1wk and the altonator went. A garage quoted me 240 for the altonator plus 5hrs labour a total over £600. Following advise from the other forum members i did it myself for £150 that £18 is worth every penny.
