Sorry but my Mivec with Apexi N1 and HKS filter doesnt even come close to this.

http://videos.streetfire.net/video/8d501c4e-5398-470e-8cc1-985f01890fd2.htm

I so want one! Brutal power delivery too. If it wasnt for this car, then the cossies / evos and scoobys etc probably wouldnt exist. I remember being a passenger in the road - going sport version (short wheel base) a few years back and I have never been so terrified. The acceleration was awesome, and the handling for its day incredible.

The S1 was the reason i got into rallying as a wee child!

Never forget hearing it roar throught the forests! but that's 440 bhp for you!

still my ambition to own a Quattro! Very Happy

But let's not forget it's rivals at that time...........

Ah yes the super and turbocharged Delta S4, and the great 205 T16 of which I've also got a massive soft spot. Dont think you can beat the sound of that turbo'd 20v 5 pot though - just something about it which makes my hair stand on end every time I hear one. One of the most brutal sounding exhaust notes ever.

That does sound lovely, but still prefer the sound of the Audi to be honest. Never been a massive fan of V8s. They do sound nice but I just love the sound of highly tuned, heavily boosted motors. Love the sound of tuned Supras too. PS I'd love to hear what your fto sounds like boosted (low boost I know).

I personally like the sound of a highly tuned V8

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7t8TpyE5QI4

or a highly tuned v6

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aBMKBDJ10_o
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KVomPBBzYOY

but best yet has to be a 20000rpm v8 screamer....
